Welcome to the UKEL 2021 Spring Split!

Welcome to the UKEL 2021 Spring Split!
We have lots of exciting news to share with you all over the coming weeks in the build-up to the start of the split! Today we will be focusing on the important stuff, such as format, dates and the teams competing for their chance at promotion into the UKLC.
Format
We have made some slight changes to our format to improve the viewer experience, as well as the competitive aspect for the teams involved.
The regular season will be moving to a double round-robin, meaning each team will play 14 matches over the split. To accommodate this we will be streaming twice weekly, Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 12pm with 4 matches on each day.
Play-offs has also seen a slight change, with the top 6 teams competing in a double elimination bracket. The 5th and 6th seed teams from the regular season will start in the lower bracket, while 1st-4th will begin in the upper bracket with 1st seed having their choice of opponent from seeds 3 and 4.
The promotion and relegation tournament format is unchanged and as usual will be proceeded by an open tournament, giving up and coming teams the chance to qualify for Summer 2021!
